Job Description

At Amazon, we strive to be Earth’s most customer-centric company, where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allows delivery partners to on board, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are nothing short of disruptive, and promise to challenge traditional approaches, and change the way the industry operates.

Amazon Flex is continuing to build a high paced UK team to implement and expand AmFlex capabilities across key segments of the business. Amazon is now looking to hire an experienced, passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and (most importantly) customer-obsessed Field Operations Manager.

You will lead a team of Field Operators to drive performance improvement for Amazon Flex business across our UK operations. This involves working closely with our internal partners (AMZL and GSF). You will be responsible for driving data backed models and building processes to improve performance across the network. This role requires the ability to push product utilization and service optimization within the last mile delivery network. Internally, this leader will work directly with regional leadership teams and with functions that cut across the organization, including technology, transportation, operations and customer service, to drive a great customer experience for our program. You will be accountable for improving metrics related to experience, cost, quality and engagement, delivering against goals and targets while coaching and mentoring your team of field operators.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented possessing superior interpersonal communication skills. We are looking for a leader who can be comfortable working independently to drive growth and change in a fast-paced environment. An extreme bias for action is an absolute must, and candidates must demonstrate a superior track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities:
· Continuously look for improvements to standardize and drive at scale
· Coordinate large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders
· Lead a team of Field Operators to achieve goals
