What you’ll achieve
As an Alliance Sales Executive , you will be responsible for DRIVING REVENUE TO AND FROM OUR BEST ALLIANCE PARTNERS.

You will accomplish this primarily through Dell core and specialty field enablement, engaging them with our alliance partner sellers and uncovering and developing opportunities to generate incremental revenue together.

As an Alliance Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating incremental, additional revenue beyond what Dell core sales teams generate directly and through our Channel. You will work with our alliance partner sales organizations, Dell core and specialty sellers and Dell alliance partner teams on field execution against joint solution offerings created by Dell and our Alliance partners.

You will:

  • Engage with our “Tower leads” or AE/GAM’s that own the Global Alliance (GA) partner relationships and learn the offerings and go to market priorities and determine which Global Alliance (GA) partners to proactively involve in Dell EMC campaigns based on GA Service catalog and their verticals capabilities. 
  • Build relationships directly with these GA partners.
  • Educate Dell core and specialty field sellers as to what our GA partners do and how they can grow our business.
    • Offer as a service (aaS) models
    • Provide vertical expertise
    • Provide managed services and cloud solutions
  • Plan and execute field sales campaigns around specific partners, verticals, use-cases and solutions.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for Dell and its GA to jointly pursue revenue, often focused on our PowerUp Grow & Acquire accounts.
  • Maintain cadence with both GA partners, GA partner< ‘Tower teams”, and Dell end account teams
  • Generate revenue to retire a sales quota.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent;
  • 1-2 years Inside or Outside sales experience;
  • Comfort level with complex, multi-party sales pursuits/transactions;
  • Ability to thrive in influence situations, where another party has direct control over the pursuit/sale;
  • Superior organizational skills, including holding others accountable for tasks/actions in highly complex environments.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help business partner making buying decision

Desirable Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including in front of larger audiences;
  • Experience operating in Dell's indirect sales environment, which may include the channel, OEM and/or Global Alliances.
