General Overview:

Equans are looking for an experienced and qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out maintenance routines, diagnose and repair faults on a wide variety of plant including Air Conditioning split systems/multi systems, Air Handling Units, motors, pumps, compressors, fans, and drives.

What will you deliver?

• Ability to analyse data and drawings to ensure accuracy
• Be willing to provide out of hours cover when required
• Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standard
• Diagnose and repair faults on a wide variety of plant including Air Conditioning split systems/multi systems, Air Handling Units, motors, pumps, compressors, fans, and drives
• Work closely with other engineers and supervisors – providing cover and support as required
• Work schedules and projects are prioritised appropriately and delivered on time
• Experience to service and fault find on both conventional and intelligent Systems with knowledge of trend BMS, would be beneficial but not essential
• Ability to follow work instructions, read/ interpret technical diagrams and report technical information as required

•  Who are we looking for?

• City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent is a mandatory requirement
• F-Gas certification City & Guilds (2079) Cat 1 is a mandatory requirement
• CITB P&P Pipework and Brazing
• Competent in fault finding and diagnostics and procurement of spares
• Formal and recognised apprenticeship served in relevant skill area or minimum of 4 years relevant and practical experience working with Air Conditioning and Air Handling Units, control and instrumentation would be beneficial but not essential
