The Spec Analytics Analyst is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

As an Analyst, we are seeking an experienced analytics candidate who should be able to perform below behaviors in their day-to-day role:

• Data Manipulation: Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies

• Familiarity with Tools: Identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes

• Statistical mind set â€“ Familiarity in basic statistics, hypothesis testing, segmentation, and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities

We are a part of the broader North America Consumer Banking team providing strategic and analytical decision management support to nurture growth through enhanced customer experience. As Portfolio Analytics team, we support analytical functions across the US Consumer Business. Few notables among the multiple areas that we work in:

• New Market Entry: Support new market entry through relevant insights and recommendations focused on driving customer engagement and revenue

• Improve Franchise Value: Identify synergies with Private Bank and deepen relationships with deposit/card-only customers. Unearth opportunities to cultivate diversified revenue streams with focus on strong fee revenue

• Customer Segmentation: Develop segmentation through usage of various key business parameters by understanding the underlying core dynamics in Wealth Management

• Initiatives to meet Plan: Design and own multiple analytical interventions in the Retail/Wealth Management area to meet the year end goals

Qualifications:

• Previous related experience preferred

• Have the ability to retrieve and manipulation data

• Working experience in a quantitative field

• Possess analytic ability and problem solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, and adaptive to matrix work environment

Education:

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
