POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Project Manager Agile Product Owner Sr. Advisor will participate in, independently lead and execute large cross-functional, strategic projects to support The National Council of Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) Telecommunication Standards, impacting Point-of-Sale (POS)/Retail Adjudication and Pharma Rebate processes. The Agile Product Owner Sr. Advisor will be the subject matter expert (SME) internally and externally, supporting claims adjudication and/or pharma rebates industry standards with key business stakeholders. This is inclusive of being an internal consultant and responsible to ensure company compliance of regulations for retail POS adjudication and NCPDP telecommunication standards. This will include a deeper level of understanding for our various business processes, analyzing data, identifying process improvements, and provide solutions to resolving issues.
This individual must lead, collaborate, and coordinate with various Claims Technical Product Owners (TPO) and business stakeholders related to any retail POS adjudication or Pharma Rebate projects. This role requires the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively and assist in decision making with key strategic partners across both business and technology stakeholders. This starts with the ability to gather clear and specific business intent in which technology will translate into requirements that the Agile Product Owner Sr. Advisor will ensure goes through the prioritization and execution phases of the agile project lifecycle.
These responsibilities require a high degree of technical and project management experience; extensive attention to detail, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the capability to over-come varying challenges, obstacles and competing priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Consult Internal Stakeholders on retail point-of-sale, Telecommunication Standard and Pharma Rebate impacts and solutions.
Ensure compliance of regulations for government programs, Pharmacy Claims Adjudication & Pharma Rebate processes, by monitoring business processes, analyzing data, identifying process improvements, and issue resolution.
Actively participate in and influence NCPDP Telecommunication changes via external NCPDP forums; including Work Groups (WG), Task Groups (TG) and Committees. This includes providing feedback within discussions, offering potential solutions and seeking leadership roles when the opportunity presents itself.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Health Care Management, or Information Systems
Preferred Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Health Care Management, or Information Systems
8-12 years proven people management skills, PBM experience, and experience with IT supported projects and general project management experience.
2 years minimum NCPDP membership and experience in NCPDP leadership/volunteer roles
Proficient with Microsoft Suite; including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Strong working knowledge of claim adjudication and/or retail systems and requirements preferred
Proven project management skills and familiarity with Agile methodology
Proven training/documentation skills
Proven collaborative facilitation and communication skills
Proven technical and detail oriented skills
Proven SME in Pharmacy Claims Adjudication
Proven SME in Pharma Rebate Processes
This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
