Job Purpose and Impact
The Agile Coachwill provide subject matter expertise in agile procedures and methods to a large department, business unit or area. In this role, you will guide the implementation and adoption of new agile best practices and create new improvements to processes that already exist. You will consult with management and influence strategy across your assigned area and proactively address complex issues to ensure that project teams are able to meet their objectives on time and under budget.
Key Accountabilities
- Influence strategies used by senior management by providing consultation on agile values and practices and developing new and agile approaches to successfully address and resolve problems and obstacles as they arise.
- Interpret internal and external business practices and leverage that understanding to foster a culture that embraces agile framework values to be flexible and react quickly to changes in a given project or environment.
- Address complex and intricate problems with new solutions in cooperation with business and implementation leaders and ensure they are aligned with the objectives of the company.
- Partner with global teams to address challenges that may have an impact on the entire company and provide an expert perspective on resolving challenges and problems using agile methodology.
- Proactively assess process and project methods to ensure there are no unobserved problems with the way that projects are completed and ensure alignment with successful agile transformation strategies.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts in different fields and in different teams to provide an outsider perspective on problems project teams may encounter to discover new solutions and drive success along the agility roadmap.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of agile frameworks
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified agile coach, practitioner, change or process management certification
- Experience in an agile coach position, applying agile practices and principles including the ability to inspect and adapt agile practices to various situations
- Experience in delivering agile training or workshop material
- Experience helping to define the vision, create a team and improve agility for new initiatives
