The administrative staff at Fidelity plays a vital role in the company's success and the individuals serving in these positions are recognized by their colleagues as key members of their team. Excellent communication skills will be constantly put to the test, as will the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously serving as a focal point of a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. This role requires versatility, as the position involves a broad range of administration that impacts our growing organization. As a member of the DSO Strategy and Planning team, you will provide advanced administrative support for the Head of Strategy and Planning, Head of Operations Processing and the SSG Leader. In this role, you frequently will be called upon to use your social skills as you support your team's daily initiatives and directly interact with business partners. You will be asked to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and serve as the focal point of a complex, fast-paced business environment.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

2-3 years administrative experience supporting leaders at multi-layered levels of an organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

Detail oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive and creative approach willing to assume responsibility for a broad range of administrative projects

A self-starter with the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment

A consistent record of working collaboratively and effectively with various personalities

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Excellent written and verbal communication, prioritization, and organizational skills and can effectively interact with senior leadership and associates at all levels

Work as an individual contributor and in a team environment

Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

An outstanding ability to prioritize, react and think quickly

The ability and judgment to seek clarification or assistance when needed

The desire to work as a true partner with the team and anticipate needs

The Purpose of Your Role

Scheduling, preparing for and coordinating of meetings including coordination of meeting facilities, agendas, distribution of meeting materials and/or catering

Coordinate travel arrangements through company online travel tool for flights, hotels, and transportation

Assisting the leadership team with support including expense reporting using Concur

Office management including maintaining office supplies and computer equipment support

Responsible for all end-to-end support of external off-site logistics and events

A liaison with internal departments

Project management and presentation development, performing other ad hoc related duties as required.
