Administration Team Leader - Mail Room
£25,000 - £35,000 plus benefits (Work Level 6B)

We’re looking for an administration team leader to join us at Co-op Legal Services and help us to continually develop our services and promote excellence across the team. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of administrators to deliver high standards of quality, compliance and assistance for our legal colleagues.
In this role, your main job will be to lead your team in dealing with a range of tasks for the different legal departments. We’ll also look to you to provide general facilities management support to our Bristol office and other administrative functions as and when required. What you’ll do
• manage a team of 6 - 10 people, taking ownership for all line management duties for these colleagues
• optimally plan and manage resource and allocate workload to deliver a 1st class service through our operational processes
• supervise the operation of the post room including the scanning and indexing of correspondence on legal cases making sure this is done in a timely manner
• be an onsite contact for any office facilities queries, accept incoming deliveries and welcome offsite visitors
• identify and manage improvements within your area and handle any issues that may arise
• work with senior management to measure performance capability and make sure we follow compliance and regulatory requirements
• be responsible for creating conditions that’ll allow your team to perform at their best, promoting their development and making sure an excellent support service is being provided
• support internal projects by working alongside key partners
• provide general administrative support and facilities management where required. Some manual work will be needed such as moving deliveries
This role would suit people who have
• previous experience working in a legal services or professional services environment
• experience in managing a team and mentoring others to meet performance targets
• process / change management experience with a continuous improvement mentality
• the capability to build positive relationships with internal leaders and clients
• confidence working with the Microsoft Office suite e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the ability to analyse data and produce reports on findings
• proficient knowledge of legal case management systems and a basic understanding of post room hardware
