This role would suit someone who is looking to join a new team within Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) which is one of the largest growth areas in the UK insurance market.
We are creating a new focused actuarial change team to develop and maintain a robust, efficient actuarial reporting capability thereby supporting the ongoing change portfolio for BPA business and ensuring the continuing the accuracy and business understanding of BPA Financial Reporting results.
This role is key to developing and maintaining the BPA Actuarial Reporting model to ensure it remains fit for purpose and accurately reflects the continually evolving features of the business from ‘win’ through migration from pricing data and systems to reporting from the live administration system.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong model development/coding skills with experience of developing actuarial valuation models in some, or all of, Prophet, VBA, C# or Tyche
Understanding of financial reporting metrics including IFRS and Solvency II
Experience of developing actuarial valuation models and data
Understanding of annuity/bulk purchase annuity products
Attention to detail and numerate, as well as having an ability to analyse complex problems
What you’ll get for this role:
Starting salary between £30,000 – £50,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
