Description

Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Woodland Hills, California area and will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position. Career growth and quick advancement is available in this progressive department. The Accounts Payable Clerk matches and batches code invoices, resolves A/P issues, processes expense reports, updates and reconciles sub-ledger to G/L, and processes checks.

Key responsibilities

- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

- Provide support during internal and external audits

- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

- Execute full-cycle A/P

- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- Excellent attention to detail

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- Competent with spreadsheets and databases

- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
