As an accountant, you'll be part of a team to keep Progressive finances healthy, so we stay a strong company. You’ll be expected to complete traditional accounting responsibilities timely and accurately, including daily balancing and monthly close responsibilities, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Additionally, the position will focus on process improvement and documentation.
Location: Cleveland, Ohio – work from home flexibility is possible
Must-have qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting
This position requires online pre-employment testing.
Preferred skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines and utilize productive work habits
Well-established organizational skills (planning, time management and prioritization)
Self-starter, able to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
Compensation
$43,800 - $54,800/year
Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
