Our process and water treatment programs help our customers overcome the problems associated with opportunity crude processing, corrosion, fouling, foaming and water treatment. Our team plays an essential role in ensuring the safe delivery of our treatment programs needed for our customer’s operations.

This role includes account management, P/L responsibilities, technical chemical sales, issue resolution all while driving excellent relationships and value to key customers. This position will be a critical part of Baker Hughes' technical team while functioning as an extension of the customer’s technical team. As an
Account Representative, you will be responsible for:
Working and acting in a safe and deliberate manner to ensure HSE compliance at all times which will include safe and reliable chemical transfers
Following Sales and Service Standards at key customer accounts to ensure performance and compliance
Develop relationships with customer Engineers and Managers; Collaborate as a team member to drive technical sales and innovative solutions
Managing activities and small projects for assigned accounts to ensure successful delivery to customer
Developing technical documents and reviews for discussion and presentation to customers and refinery executive management.
Analyzing, monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting chemical injection systems and treatment programs to ensure performance and KPI compliance
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field (prefer Chemistry or Chem Eng; additional years of experience will be considered)Have refinery operation experience or industrial process, water, finished fuels, refinery sales, engineering, or service experience
Show good understanding of industrial chemical treatment and sales process
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Have experience working in a laboratory setting
Show comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
Display excellent verbal and written communications skills
