Job Description

ABM is a $7B publicly traded facilities services management company with over 150,000 employees. ABM’s national Aviation division represents $1B in revenue and provides a variety of facilities services to airports and airlines across the United States and abroad. 
ABM is hiring a Shuttle Bus Account Manager for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to manage the full operation of Shift Managers, Supervisors, and Front Line Team Members. In this role, the Shuttle Bus Account Manager ensures all team members learn and comply with safety, quality, customer service, and compliance standards as established by ABM, our client, and regulatory authorities. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and other managers.
  • Effectively coach, counsel, and guide team members in their day to day work responsibilities. 
  • Ensure financial targets are met through effective scheduling practices and time management.
  • Authorize & approve the purchase of supplies and materials needed to maintain operational efficiency and to meet profitability goals.
  • Analyze available reporting and metrics to develop process and procedures that may improve upon current service and quality levels.
  • Monitor and maintain staffing levels with the assistance of the local Human Resources Department.
  • Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests. 
  • Work with Regional Safety Manager to ensure the safety and security of the operation and conduct regular inspections to ensure that service and contractual standards are met.
  • Provide ongoing adherence to SOX and DOT compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years of experience managing a team in a similar role preferred.
  • Advanced customer service skills in a client facing environment.
  • 3 years of budgeting and expense control experience preferred
  • Proven leadership ability managing large teams
  • Some scheduling flexibility needed to monitor and manage a multi-shift environment.
  • CDL license preferred, not required
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
