We’re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We’re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible

As a Sales Account Manager, your role is to further improve AMT-Sybex’s market position and contribute to the success of our growing business. You’ll be responsible for building key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions in order to support the achievement of our strategic goals

​Contacts and maintains relationships with customers, sells products or services, prepares and negotiates for contracts.

Prospecting new business, setting and closing appointments with key decision makers, servicing existing business and developing strong client relationships. Presenting products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions and addressing their needs. Scheduling promotional work and tracking sales activities; quoting prices, preparing proposals and providing information regarding terms and delivery, and negotiating contracts. Developing new business within assigned region or industry; gathering data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing.

You’ll be responsible for building key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions in order to support the achievement of our strategic goals. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to develop sales opportunities into successful customer engagements. You will be responsible for identifying potential new customers, presenting our value proposition to them, ultimately converting them into clients, and continue to grow business with them in the future. You will also manage a number of existing clients, increasing the contribution of AMT-Sybex solutions to their business goals and ensuring they receive a high standard of service in order to achieve agreed outcomes

Experience selling to organisations in the UK Energy industry

•Experience of complex solution selling at an enterprise level to large organisations•Experience of selling software products with associated implementation services, support and managed services.

•Proven ability to work effectively at all levels within accounts

•Leading teams during sales cycles and tender processes – coordinating and driving presales, business development, legal and operational input, as well as managing partners and 3rd parties where appropriate.

•Experience with tender/bid processes, drafting proposals, negotiating contracts and closing sales

•Understanding of financial considerations including P&L, margins & cashflow •Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation

•Team player, motivated by winning contracts

•Strong planning and organizational skills
