Job summary
Amazon is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Consumer Payments Financial Services team, which is responsible for various Consumer Payments products, working with various external parties to optimise the Customer and Seller experience. In this role, you will manage day to day financial services partner relationships in support of delivering best-in-class innovation and experiences and deliver increased opportunities to delight customers.
The role will entail concurrently driving multiple engagements with partners that may involve product, marketing and technology components across partners initially in the UK and Germany (Munich). It is crucial for the candidate to be forward-thinking and capable of taking the initiative to drive internal relations leveraging OneAmazon opportunities (engagement with AWS, Advertising, Business, Devices etc) to delivery DSI for Amazon and enhance the commercial relationship with partners.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the day to day business relationship with partners.
• Work alongside the Business Operation Program Manager to build and develop the overall relationship with the partner.
• Analyse data to identify key issues and opportunities to approach for scaling
• Assist sales outreach with Business Development team, educating partners about the program and defining onboarding plans for new partners.
• Solve onboarding challenges with technical and product teams and drive issues to resolution.
• Provide business support for on-boarded partners (e.g. Reporting, Market comparisons, auditing customer-facing materials)
• Proactively create a feedback loop back to the product and engineering teams to implement any changes that Amazon needs to support to improve our customer experience.
• Refine go-to-market materials/plans in collaboration with Marketing and partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, or related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows based applications.
  • Demonstrated Analytical ability, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
  • Multiple years of experience in roles such as Account Management, Partner Management or Sales
  • Experience securing complex partnerships
  • Track record of timely execution of complex programs
  • Sufficient analytical skills with demonstrated ability to manage the business ‘by the numbers’
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Success managing dynamic account portfolios
  • Experience in account management/partner management in the financial services industry
  • Experience in business development for technical products
