Job Summary:

The Performance Marketing Sales team is part of Disney Advertising Sales (DAS) and the larger Disney Media and Entertainment Division (DMED). We are seeking an accomplished, highly motivated sales executive with proven success in the Digital and Linear Landscape. This Performance Marketing Account Executive will be focused on growing overall performance revenue across both linear and digital products in the Disney portfolio of properties including: ABC, Disney, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform FX & Nat Geo by leveraging existing client and agency relationships. This position will be responsible for driving Performance advertising sales revenue through sponsorships and integrations, campaign implementation and delivery of results in order to provide the highest standard of advertising sales customer service to DAS clients. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Build on strengths of the Disney portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up-selling existing clients to maximize revenue
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of professionalism, quality and in a timely manner Establish and foster working relationships with key decision makers on both client and agency level with a focus on the Direct to Consumer and Emerging brands.
  • Compile weekly and quarterly sales and client status reports Work closely with other Disney Ad Sales teams such as marketing, research and operations for RFP requests and campaign implementation

  • Analyze current state of linear business to identify and recommend digital opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver both pitch and wrap up decks for pre and post campaigns
  • Act as a resource for AE’s regarding available opportunities across linear and digital Disney properties
  • Direct and coordinate Sales Planners in securing sports and entertainment deals
  • Leverage deal expertise to proactively recommend optimized inventory solutions
  • Collaborate with DAS category vertical teams for insights to help grow business
  • Create and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients Prospecting, identifying and qualifying new clients for our various portfolios
  • Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations Negotiate pricing, advertising placement, content and event concepts
  • Develop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts
  • Position requires travel based on client and agency location

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of advertising sales experience
  • Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes
  • Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions
  • Understanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs
  • Demonstrate proficiency in media math and analysis
  • Ability to manipulate data for analysis and presentation
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to multi-task, make decisions and manage at entrepreneurial speed
  • Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers, not just the program or price
  • Strong, confident presentation skills
