Capita Secure Solutions & Services is a leading solution provider to the Police, Criminal Justice, Emergency Services and Critical Responder sectors across the world; helping to realise benefits through technology-enabled Digital Transformation. 

This opportunity sits within the Fire section of the Emergency Services.

Our solutions encompass Control Rooms and Contact Centres, Integrated Communications, Digital Evidence Management, Police Records Management and Duty Management.

Around the world we work with key integration partners supporting their in-country activity during implementation and through-life with our 24/7/365 support services.

We attend a range of events and conferences around the world each year, building our network of partners and ensuring that as many potential clients as possible get to see and hear about our innovative portfolio of solutions.

We’re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We’re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and developing the relationship with specific public sector and public safety customers, to ensure that Capita is a recognised and trusted partner and supplier of solutions
  • Creating a clear strategy and communication model for all customers
  • Working closely with pre-sales and product leads, to coordinate and manage relationships and when appropriate highlight potential changes and developments to the product portfolio, to ensure that they remain in line with customer requirements.
  • Understanding the compliance and suitability of our solutions in line with customer requirements.
  • Articulating our solution suitability, compliance and value in relation to customer proposals and formal procurement processes
  • Delivering against quarterly targets and KPIs as defined
  • Supporting the Sales Director and the relevant partner teams to help tell the Capita story to drive sales across all territories

What we’re looking for:

  • A demonstrable track record of experience and success in a similar position preferable.
  • Knowledge of the public sector/ 3ES would be preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Command and Control and ICCS solutions would be preferable but not essential.
  • The ability to obtain the respect of customers and colleagues alike.
  • A comfortable presentation style coming across clearly and knowledgeably.
  • The ability to communicate comfortably both internally and externally with a range of stakeholders from practitioners
  • Ability to read the audience to gauge reception and adapt accordingly.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to the dynamics of the sectors in which we operate if appropriate.
  • Good written skills experience of documenting and costing commercial proposals and writing compelling propositions for customers.
  • Awareness of commercial models and contractual terms.
  • Demonstrable experience of working at a senior level within customers, including operational / line of business contacts
  • Experience of selling and innovating within the customers, and the ability to build a run rate business through projects and credibility
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Able to communicate and present to C-Level executives to educate and lead the strategy, direction ad changes both within Capita and externally
