YOUR JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main mission will be to implement the mission's logistics policy to guarantee logistics performance at the Ambovombe base.
More specifically, you will be in charge of:
– Managing the activity;
– Implement and guarantee the performance of the supply chain;
– Implement and guarantee the performance of general resources;
– Implement and guarantee IT performance, networks and telecommunications;
– Implement and monitor collaboration and logistical coordination with partners in the area of ​​intervention;
– Supervise and support the Logistics team (management and training)
– Support the nationalization of the position in the medium term
YOUR PROFILE
Coming from a higher education in logistics and transport (international transport option / stock management / vehicle fleet management are a plus), you justify a first significant professional experience in logistics in an international environment or in a similar position.
You have professionally experienced the implementation and monitoring of logistics management schemes in NGOs, you are recognized for your training skills and are keen to increase the skills and empower your teams.
You have developed your sense of diplomacy and your interpersonal skills during your various experiences, but also your ability to adapt and quickly understand.
Mastery of NGO and donor logistics procedures is imperative; knowledge of Action Against Hunger's commitments and intervention principles as well as standard documents would be a plus.
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
– 4 months of fixed-term contract under French law
– Gross monthly starting salary from 2010 to 2335EUR depending on experience
– Per diem and monthly living expenses: 483EUR (cf eurocost) net, paid on the ground.
– Monthly context allowance: 150EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
– Transport and accommodation: Support for travel and collective accommodation
– Medical cover: 100% of the payment of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
– Leave and RnR: C25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215EUR paid during the recovery period
– Training: Unlimited and free access to the e-learning platform certifying Crossknowledge ©
