We are looking for ambitious, capable and driven graduates (0 to 3 years’ experience) to work within the Contracts / Commercial team.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in an experienced team, integrated with the client, to assist development of commercial systems and the preparation and management of contracts for major infrastructure works. The work will involve coordination across the team and with contractors to complete works in a sustainable and fair manner. The role will involve engagement with design, construction, project controls and legal teams to issue tenders and manage contracts, including the resolution of changes and claims. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute and develop project critical commercial skills.

Functional guidance from regional Manager of Contracts and Procurement.

DETAILED JOB DIMENSIONS
Manage work performance, early warnings, compensation events, disputes, payments and securities.
Review construction and engineering work performance in the field to contracted requirements.
Participate in tender / award processes.
Coordinate with other team members to analyse the commercial merit of disputed positions.
Participate in process improvement initiatives aligned to client project development needs.
Prepare reports enabling proactive executive management decisions project progress and risks.
JOB KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or Construction Management.
Interest in supply chain management, quantity surveying or commercial aspects of construction projects.
