Position Description
The Customer Care position at any McDonald's is at the forefront of our business and you will act as our 'face' with our dine-in and takeaway customers, as well as to our McDelivery partners. As a host you will be expected to be approachable, friendly and to help anticipate customer needs. You should be prepared to consistently deliver the highest standards of service and cleanliness within your restaurant. Our Customer Care teams aim to give our customers a great experience each visit and every time.
We expect all members of our Customer Care team to help create a pleasant and warming environment, which includes cleaning customer areas of our restaurant (such as the car park, dining area and customer toilets).

A franchised restaurant is a restaurant operated by a local business person trading under the McDonald's name. Currently over 80% of our restaurants in the UK are franchised but from a customer point of view there's no difference.
Position Requirements
We ask that our Customer Care teams are welcoming and make attempts to connect with our customers. A Customer Care Assistant should be enthusiastic and energetic, and confident in dealing with customers' needs and expectations. You should be confident in approaching and working with diverse groups of people. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face communication and eye contact are a must. Customer Care teams should use initiative and confidence in approaching and dealing with our customers whilst remaining professional. A Customer Care Assistant works as part of a supportive team with a clear focus on putting the customer first.
Position Attributes
We expect all persons within our Customer Care teams to complete tasks and activities in line with their training, company guidelines and at management direction. We ask that all Customer Care Assistants follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures. As the 'face' of our restaurant, we expect that full uniform guidelines are consistently met and that personal appearance standards are maintained.
